Why was vijay not in first test?
It does not make sense to drop Pujara from team. He should be a permanent fixture at no. 3.

Pujara's exclusion stinks. Kohli is playing really dirty. Rohit did not show any ability to play under pressure. An Indian team with no depth or stability drops the only batsman who can provide both.

...so whatever happened to the 'Super Advisory" committee of Ganguly-Tendulkar-VVSL?

What is the use of this committee if they cannot stem the dirty politics right under their noses.

Well, in their defense, Pujara averaged 25 in the last two series he played.
