Why only post a link?

If I were to just post the link above, why do I? Its something written by someone else, somewhere on this vast internet, do I have anything to contribute besides the assumption that others cannot google for it if interested?
Just posting a link without any addition is very very close to meaningless in a discussion forum.

I suppose I can understand it, after questioning Merlot to open up for so many years.
If one fears to even tell their gender, profession, location, age - generally speaking then - how lonely are they in real life? If they cannot speak to strangers about their general traits, then....
