No.
These simply are the ancient practices signifying auspiciousness of the occasion, e.g. the start of a new task or venture. There is no real religious significance in them, especially when no holy hymns and mantras are recited while breaking a coconut or lighting a candle or a lamp, and as such they are not in contradiction to secularism. On the other hand, opposing or not taking part in them because of religious reason or excuse definitely indicates a religious bias against the non-religious custom / practice and may even be looked at as a non-secular act.
