The reason would be ego.

An example - If the "bytch" club is the pioneer, QB and TS wouldn't want to join.

Eventually, if CH does die, they will all have to swallow their pride and move to the new forum. They will have to. Without "hideous" SIs, how will aalok spend his drunken nights?

I agree... I think we already have a critical mass of posters who have shown an interest in switching. If this group posts exclusively on the new platform -- whichever of the three options we still have running -- I think the rest will either follow, or beat their CH addition altogether. CH itself won't survive in its current form if this large a group of users moves.
