PChidambaram - a fine example of an anti-national
....The entire cong(i) - Sonia ji, Rahul ji, PC ji, Doggyboy ji are all anti-national - if one were to go by PC "sudden" vision on Afzal
Hello? It took 15 years and a bunch of students creating a ruckus for him to have this epiphany and wake up to a whole new ball of wool? Wasn’t the whole trial on his party’s watch? Wasn’t the Congress in command for all the years all the way to the hanging tree? And when Guru was hanged in 2013 it was after rejections of pleas by the Supreme Court and the President. So why this deliberate attempt to obfuscate matters now?
That says it all. I think PC eats and farts from the same end.

PC's new enlightenment also means that he gave up on CONmen becoming the next govt. Let me explain - his liberal position now will come back and haunt him tomorrow if Pappu becomes the PM and CONmen happen to charge someone with sedition. So, he has decided that, from now on, he can be permanently liberal in his legal opinions (since he will either quit politics or be in opposition).
He has a point though. As a home minister, he is duty bound to follow through on a court decision (and after the president rejects the mercy plea). He can not use his personal views in that process.
I hope he will stop defending Pappu's trips to JNU and UoH. Pappu is a meathead and he doesn't think through. He is like Subahu who obeyed his mother Taraka all the time until he got killed.

Don't know how can ANYONE (PC) or from JNU think about making that kind of statement after seeing this video?
Are they blind or idiots?

PC (and Shanti Bhushan) expressed the view that since Afzal Guru didn't physically participate in the attack on parliament, he should have been tried under a different law and if found guilty, the maximum penalty would have been life imprisonment without parole.southindian wrote:Don't know how can ANYONE (PC) or from JNU think about making that kind of statement after seeing this video?

I wonder what the appropriate law is to try him - treason?Hellsangel wrote:http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/Was-tortured-told-to-sign-on-Ishrat-affidavit-claims-former-bureaucrat/articleshow/51212517.cms
For all you know, he may well be the adviser to A Raja in the 2-G scam.
In the 2009 election, there were rumors that his election from Sivakasi was rigged - he was trailing until he was declared the winner!

Phulease... Secularism is more important than corruption, Nationalism or terrorism.
All these "Harvard-educated" Bums looting the country dry and storing their wealth all over the world.
What little guilt I had of leaving India is totally long gone.
