Tarek Fatah is an educated Muslim who lives in Canada. He is obviously a Shiia. He does make some very good points about the milder version of iSlam that migrated from India to SE Asia. He is also right about SI Muslims becoming pieceful because of the Arab influence. According to him, Kalam, who read the Gita and knew Carnatic music, was a proper Indian Muslim. I agree with his views on Arab Muslims - they are morons.

Hopefully, the pieceful mullahs won't issue a Fukwa against him!

Modi should give Tarek Indian citizenship and make him a member of an inter-faith dialogue group at national level. On DD, he should be given time explain his understanding of the Koran and how educated women should come out and challenge the insecure and pieceful Mullahs. He should be asked to give lectures to Kerala Muslims on why Wahabi iSlam is evil and how sharia hijacked the original iSlamic culture. The Kerala mosque should be peddled as the real place for Hajj pilgrimage and Mecca should be symbolically stoned near the Kerala mosque (like what monomaniacs do to the Satan hill in S Arabia). Tarek is the right person for some real H-M synthesis (i.e., reviving the Indian version of iSlam) and fostering Bahai and Sufism.
