This is what is.

Marissa Meyer not only did not improve Yahoo's bottomline but she tanked it down to $4.8 Billion. Any employee would be fired for doing a clumsy job, but Ms. Meyer gets to part with $122 MILLIONS and another report sid $225 MLIIONS.

If a CEO hired at a high cost with expectation and promise of a phenomenal performance aren't they held accountable ? If anything she should be driven off with just her underpants and bra out of her Yahoo campus.

What if she were ugly? Would you recommend the same "punishment"?  Very Happy
But yeah, she is probably the most spectacular failure as a CEO. A few things helped her get away with ineptitude. That google aura - if she previously worked at google, then she must be damn good!
The hotness factor - remember that cover page photo shoot for some magazine? And then, finally, the victim factor - yes, she is a poor little woman battling all these bad, bad men in the corporate jungle and how dare anyone call her out for the failure that she is!
