Trump cabinet - what do you think?

Trump cabinet is interesting from the point of view who he did not pick.

Giuliani, Christi, Gingrich, and Palin are not in ( at least till this moment).

Among the picks, defense secretary is one with necessary expertise. There are some concerns about him being removed from Pentagon for only three years but he is supposed to be a good thinker. Positive Pick.

Secretary of State, Tillerson. His Exxon background, friendship with Putin and lack of political experience are concerns. His world wide engagement gives him some knowledge base about world affairs. New President should have the right to pick a competent person of his choosing.

Homeland Secretary, General Kelly, is reported to be a tough professional. No problem there.

Jeff sessions as Attorney General raised several concerns. His actions will affect ordinary lives of many Americans sooner than most other cabinet members. One can only hope for good things to happen with fingers crossed.

EPA secretary, energy secretary, and education secretary are all very political. They are all very much against their agencies. This is the clearest example of elections have consequences. Not expecting enlightened policies from any of these secretaries.

Ivanka Trump and her husband are moving into west wing of WH. She is effectively the Home Minister of America, PM of Kitchen Cabinet.

Trump decided to take a hard right initially. His plan is probably to stick to the right till his support base is deep and in third year or so, he may send out some liberal balloons by humoring tree huggers and family leave crowd.

Trump must be happy that democrats are struggling and sadly hang onto thrice defeated (crushed) Nancy Pelosi. This will extend Trump Honeymoon (or euphoria) period.

oh is Jeff sessions really going to be the AG??? is that already confirmed? after having such decent people like eric holder and loretta lynch?

i'm trying my best to learn nothing of the future cabinet. i'd like to believe that we are not in peril but if someone like JS becomes teh AG it is very concerning. he is anti-black, anti-gay, anti-immigration (he wants to block all immigration not just illegal stuff) and he has said weird things about climate change. trump is a dunce but pence and sessions are guys with a plan for america.
