What's happening? It's barely 3 months since they took the office. One of them was named in rape charge, another minister's son is booked on rape charge and home minister's son is taking bribes; apparently 14 ministers have criminal cases against them.

One disagreement with sc. Criminal cases for personal enrichment and preservation should be the criteria. Something like ayodya which is a political case should not be included. Corruption cases and abuse of power should be primary focus for disqualification.
Those in power can foist all kinds of cases against opponents. If there is no discretion it can trap lot of people agitating for genuine causes.
sc should have cited laloo and jagan as good examples for permanent political disqualification.
