when i post a reply in the box right below the page, i get only half the console (i don't have options for hosting images or posting a youtube link). however, when i "reply to" to a post by clicking "quote," i get the full console. why is this happening? how can i gain access to the whole console when composing a reply everytime.

Not sure why the difference is there. Let me look into it. AFAIK, they are simply two different boxes (the one at the bottom of the page is called "quick reply" and it is for quick replies; that is probably why it has fewer options.)

ok i just found the hosting images option in the "quick reply" box. youtube embedding is still missing (present though when i reply by "quoting" someone).

one more thing. if i copy/paste an image (not an emoticon), the site acts up on you and does not let you post.

I found a work-around for this issue. I type something in the 'quick reply' box and instead of clicking on the Send button, I click on Preview button. Now, my edit console gives me the full set of buttons.

There is a "postreply" at the bottom that gives all the options.

edit: I notice that it is present at the top of the thread as well.
