.....Well, the Metro is well-liked by commuters. When all routes become operational, that can have an impact on the traffic on roads. Main roads in Banjara Hills are plugged and it takes a long time to go from Punjagutta to Hi-Tech city. The smell of diesel and the noise pollution are still high. People are finding the outer ring road handy in going from one part of the city to the other (for example, from Gacchibowli to LB Nagar)....
Looks like people are happy with KCR - there is 24/7 electricity and water supply in Hyderabad. Shopping malls are busy (Christmas time) and for a small minority in a vast country, Christian holidays are celebrated everywhere and it seems the average kid can sing Christmas carols just like their counterparts in goralands.....

.....Looks like Aurangazeb's sishya is desperate. His H-M synthesis is petering out and he is now peddling Japanese-Tamil synthesis. Soon, he may end up accepting D-M and C-M syntheses as the only alternatives left for mians.....

Alleging religious conversion, a mob linked to a right-wing Hindu group attacked Catholic carol singers in Madhya Pradesh's Satna district and also set a priest's car ablaze.

The incident occurred on Thursday evening. Instead of taking action against the attackers, the police detained the Christian singers, a priest said.

Father Rene Verghese told IANS on Friday: "A group of students training to become priests was moving around Satna town, visiting Christian institutions and singing carols.

"Some 15 km from here in Dara Kalan village church they were getting ready for the Christmas celebrations, when a group of people attacked them, accusing them of carrying out the religious conversion."
