The upper bound on stupidity and gullibility in this country is 46%. It will be interesting to see if we get up to that level on this question.

It is fascinating -- and disturbing -- to see that 40% of Americans are stupid enough to believe this is a witch hunt when the following incontrovertible facts have been established by the Mueller investigation:
  • Three members of the Trump campaign team -- Papadopoulos, Flynn and Gates -- are guilty of crimes. They have accepted their guilt. Two of them are senior figures.
  • Two of these guys accepted that they had lied to the FBI about their contacts with Russians.
  • Trump's son, son-in-law and campaign chief met with Russians to get dirt on Clinton.
  • None of them ever reported that meeting or the Russian overture to the FBI.

President Donald Trump's personal attorney Michael Cohen has been under criminal investigation for months, largely centering around his business dealings, federal prosecutors in New York said in court documents obtained by ABC News.

This is not about the Russia investigation. Cohen's criminality is separate from the Mueller investigation. Trump just happens to have a lot of criminals around him, that's just how he rolls.
