The Senate Judiciary Committee is planning to open a new investigation into the circumstances of Comey's firing. This follows Comey's total nothingburger testimony last week before a different Senate committee conducting a separate investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.

Why are these Republicans launching an investigation into the totally-OK nothing-to-see-here Comey firing? Is Trump turning into a witch in their eyes?
