Is it because their parents cannot afford to spend Rs. 100 on a pair of flipflops? Or is it culture?

I bet they have cable TV at home.

While the Act envisages a series of reforms in school education, the clause on reserving 25 per cent of seats at the entry level for children belonging to weaker sections and disadvantaged groups has remained in focus.


===> I bet the schools run by Christian, Catholics and Muslims are exempt from this RTE act. They are constitutionally protected from having hire teachers or admit students based on any kind of quota.
