I bet Mullahs, Chaddis, Gowns, Laloos and Romneys are behind this move. If homemakers are given a salary, they will not have an incentive to go to school and join the workforce. Society starts marching backwards. The next step will be - reservations for homemakers (political parties [CONartists] will offer salaries and free TVs [to watch soap-operas] form the govt. to homemakers belonging to SC/ST, OBC, 'minorities", etc.).
