Conservative hand-wringing about Romney campaign Empty Conservative hand-wringing about Romney campaign

As the polls show Obama with a small but sizable lead -- particularly in key states like Ohio and Virginia -- conservatives are beginning to publicly air their concerns about the Romney campaign. They want him to get more specific. As Romney found out, that's a risky strategy: he offered a couple of specifics on what he would keep in Obamacare, and his campaign soon "clarified" that Romney didn't really mean what he said on Meet the Press.

aiyoooo raama, i was waiting for you or max or both to post this. you men here are predictable and boring. All what you are saying about romney is really no secret. At the end of the day, one who screams loudest is going to win. As of now, it is the magic wand waver and the savior of the public that goes by the name obama.

it is very difficult to break a second term for a sitting president unless he's really screwed up. one cannot blame your leader for sitting tight and doing nothing for job creation and the economy. so logically speaking, he did not screw up.

Ok ma, I am so glad you find the woma/en here unpredictable and exciting!

I'll keep and open mind and listen to whispers and softly-spoken words..kind make a case with specifics for Mr. Romney- why as a middle class voter/woman I should vote for him.

That's what the conservative stalwarts seem to be telling Romney... given that you like him, there still is hope for us men here.

Really wonder about Mr. Romney and his sheltered life..he is honest, does not even pretend that he knows how most people are struggling these days.

Excerpt:

But how does he define "middle-income"? The Republican presidential nominee defined it as income of $200,000 to $250,000 a year.Romney commented during an interview broadcast Friday on ABC's "Good Morning America." The Census Bureau reported this week that the median household income — the midpoint for the nation — is just over $50,000.
