Training Institutes in NJ Empty Training Institutes in NJ

I have heard of many Indians in my circle boasting of many training institutes in NJ area. I would be interested to know to pass the message to my co-worker as he is very young and have bright future. What do they mean by training institutes, I hear short term training institutes are predominantly more in IT, Medical etc.,

Do they offer courses in short term if so what are recommendations from experienced IT professionals currently...and medicos what do you recommend?

I am old and don't want to deal with more education for now...
