Here are some recent activities conducted by this great organization.
http://aphindiacademy.org/e-gati.html
1. Conducted lecture of Dr.P.Manikyamba 'Mani' on 25 january 2012.
2. on 16th february 2012 conducted lecture of Dr.Ghanashyam Sharma on the occation of Famous hindi poet 'Subadhra kumari chauhan's Death cermany.
3. Conducted Lecture of Dr.Saleha Usmani about the writer 'Mohammad Ikhbal' on 12-03-2012.
4. Conducted lecture on the occation of Birth cermony of the famous socoal reformer Saint Basaveswar on 23 april, 2012.
5. Birth-cermany celbrations of the famous hindi poet 'Sumithranandan panth' celebrated on 19 may, 2012.
6. Conducted lecture of Dr.Karansing Uutval on the occation of the famous Hindi writer 'Vishnu prabhakar's' Birth-cermany on 21 June, 2012.
7. Conducted lecture of famous Hindi writer Padmasri Dr.Rameshchandhra shah on 30 july, 2012.

Thank you for focusing on the minor spelling errors. It is vital that you continue to ignore the implications of wasting taxpayer money on these events instead of spending them to make more Hindians literate. You certainly don't want to have the supply of "servants" reduced!Rashmun wrote:panini press wrote:Here are some recent activities conducted by this great organization.

The funds for this organization are coming from the state govt. Hindi walahs have nothing to do with this. The objective of this organization cannot be met without the spread of Hindi in AP. That is why the site says YSR, the former CM of AP, initiated the concept of propaganda of the Hindi language in AP.

And from AP's share of union funds. AP has a serious problem of illiteracy. It is a criminal waste of public funds to spend it on activities like those listed above, when several million people of AP are illiterate. This waste occurs because of central policies. The AP Hindi Academy was all but wound up, until YSR restarted it. YSR the joker -- who I dare not laugh at (again hahaha!) -- restarted it because of misguided Congress policies that would rather spend money on "spreading Hindi" than on educating illiterate Hindians.Rashmun wrote:panini press wrote:Where does the state government get its funds from? YSR had performed paydayatras all over Andhra Pradesh. He had an intimate understanding of the state and its people which is why the people of AP elected him CM of AP with a thumping majority. It was the considered opinion of YSR that the people of AP would benefit by learning Hindi. nobody applied any force or pressure on YSR for this purpose because nobody dared to.

That's totally true. YSR and his son also gleaned from their extensive paada yaatras that the people of andhra wanted their state coffers to be pillaged and relieved of whatever assets they owned. he skillfully also gleaned that his family and close friends should enrich themselves with unprecedented corruption. this took a lot of skill and years of gleaning on YSR's part. confuzzled will provide the necessary rebuttal to this and appropriate counter examples.

Do you think the great Dr. YS Rajasekhar Reddy -- the one I dare not laugh at (hahaha!) -- sends funds from his heavenly abode for this academy?
From the Tax payers of AP.
Corruption is a different issue altogether. Let us not confuse two different issues (Hindi and corruption).

Corruption has no bearing on any language whether hindi or telugu. YSR did not not want to propagate Hindi in AP so as to indulge in corruption.

It does, when public funds are wasted and / or stolen. Corruption is very much intertwined with Hindi pracharing in the south. For instance, there are multiple CBI investigations going on into the activities of DBHPS. You can't say Hindi-spreading without also saying corruption.Rashmun wrote:Corruption has no bearing on any language whether hindi or telugu.

Rashmun, dude don't know whether you are a southindian or a northindian but you are doing no good to northindians or hindi by making irritating statements against southindians and statements in favor of hindi.
See how the southindian clan here is united, up against you in particular and northindians in general. You are not helping yourself either if you want to talk about and spread hindi.

'Since when did the correctness of an opinion depend on a majority of votes?' --Schrodinger, in a letter to Einstein. South Indians on this forum may not be in favor of of hindi, but there are many south indians who are in favor of hindi and i see nothing wrong in pointing this out in my posts. I shall continue to do so in my future posts.

Another top Andhra Pradesh leader Chandrababu Naidu has also been learning hindi and giving speeches in hindi.

So both YSR and Naidu disagree with your perspective on Hindi.

is it your contention that the views of YSR (and also of Chandrababu Naidu) on Hindi are not genuine but in fact they were thinking promoting Hindi is somehow a way for them to engage in corruption?

my granddad has said back in 1980 that it's good everyone to learn chinese..he was a visionary but guess what, no one listened. the world we live in is full of things that people say and are not done. we just have to live with it instead of harping on them like brain damaged invertebrates.
