===> I rented a room in a house owned by an Indian lady from a carribean country.
She and some of her relatives lived there.
There were 4 major things that went on in that house.
1. Heavy Booze basically rum and coke.
2. Constant blaring of Reggae and Calypso music which gave me headache.
3. The lady had multiple relationships. Changed her lovers many times. It so happened that one of her former boyfriend got into physical fights with the man she was screwing around at that time.
4. Weekend parties in which she invited her compatriots mostly blacks and butt grinding dance till 2 AM.

Fine editorial commentary. But what did you learn from this experience? What were your key takeaways?

A more appropriate lesson to learn would have been that "the Caribbean Indian lady in this story" had more fun in her life than "the Tamil Brahmin in this story."

Statistics must be observed and learned, like the observer does.

Then before we pronounce the lessons learnt, the word "fun" has to be precisely defined.
Afterall what exactly is having fun?
For people like Sandilya, doing Padhuka Puja for Sankaracharya is "having fun".
For someone else, watching pron movies is "having fun".

Re: Carribean Indians
Why do you think only one of those activities is "fun" for Sandilya? Based on his history of CH comments, it would be more reasonable to conclude that both activities would be fun for him.sambarvada wrote:
