A fascinating character. I was impressed in particular by how he eliminated Masseria and Maranzano and became the undisputed first among equals within the mob in the U.S.

The reason for his eliminating the top two crime bosses in NY was that they were too violent, killing too many people, in their quest to be Number 1 and he believed this was bad for business.

Sorry first among equals among the Mob in NY which is the most powerful in the US. If he wanted he could have crowned himself boss of bosses, but he declined.
