After silly shows like CSI, this may be interesting on network TV.
This is the NY times review.

Re: Tonight on Fox
are there any recent american TV shows that do not require "viewer discretion advised" warning? shows without violence, cops, murder, blood, gore, mafia, drugs, guns?
thanks.
thanks.

Re: Tonight on Fox
bw.. no there are none. Anything on prime time which doesn't involve what you mentioned never make it past one season.
I saw it last night. Have you heard of a cult which follows a notorious serial killer and kills on whim because he said so? Who knows there will be one in the future?

If you get AMC, you could watch Madmen. By the way if you get FX:

I watched 'Downton Abbey', PBS's mastepiece theater recently. It doesn't have any of those, and is more like a soap.
I watched the whole season 1 in one day. Netflix only had season 1, and finally I watched season 2 the other day. It goes downhill after that, it feels more like a day time soap now.
I was really fascinated at the way they lived in 1915, including their dresses.

Oh well. I keep forgetting because they don't sound too British at all, unlike some other shows.

Maybe she can watch 'Glee'. It doesn't have anything she mentions, but I have a feeling, she might prefer blood, gore, violence than all the cheesy singing and dancing.

excuse me, i asked for shows *without* guns. 5 secs into that video, i see a man running around with some serious looking gun. no thanks!
mad men, yeah, a suffocatingly sexist show where adultery is norm. *yawn*
