QB - Why this handle? Empty QB - Why this handle?

Dear QB,

Lately, I have been wondering how and why you chose the handle Queen Bee. Would you please clarify? I am really curious.

The reason for my curiosity: In nature, a real queen bee is just an egg-laying machine. She has no other work. She gets fucked by all the male drone bees in the hive. Really, it's true. All the drones in the hive have sex with her so that she can lay eggs that become baby bees. She does not have any other work or authority. I think that even calling her a queen bee is a mistake. It was humans imposing their own worldview on the bee society. In reality, she does not have much freedom or authority or power in the hive. She is nothing more than an egg-laying slave or machine that is held in captivity in the bee hive.

Did you know all these facts when you chose the name Queen Bee? If yes, why did you choose it? Were you hoping to attract all the males here on Sulekha with that handle? If not, would you continue to keep that handle knowing what a screwed up name it is for a woman?
