And, Kris thinks the Republicans will "re-invent" in 3 presidential terms. The republican party, controlled by the tradiional white, Christian, gun-totting males, will become even more extreme due to insecurity and fear of loss of control. There has to be an internal political coup of the 90s-style Gingrich variety to force some serious philosophical change within the Elephants. After Clinton, they went fiuther right and landed with Bush, Jr. After Obama, expect them to adapt Palinism even more.

It will take a minimum of 30+ years for them to change.
