Of course..... but the press was all chucking when he got married to Teresa around the time he actively sought presidential nomination.

The Theresa Heinz-John Kerry love story (second love-marriage for both)..is kind of different and nice..it's two very, very wealthy people (Forbes + Heinz - old money= zillions)..coming together..they don't seem showing off like some people with new money (!) and both of them come across with natural sweetness -genuine caring about people who are not wealthy.
Mr. Kerry with his height and sharp features (eyes seem asymmetrical) always reminds me always of old Civil war Yankee (Union) Generals in paintings! His persona- something quite "gentle and gentlemanly" about him.

Those zillion bottles of Heinz ketchup were given as dowry to John Kerry. He just cashed his dowry with wife's help.
