Desi guys use their hand to eat food. SIs even lick their hands and fingers when they eat sambar and rasam. This explains why the right and the left hands are assigned specific tasks in India.

Apparently, Chinese are depleting trees by making chop sticks out of them. In the past, many animal species became extinct because those guys started to eat everything that moved.

Since China and India put together constitute the majority of humanity on earth, in the interest of the environment and to protect vegetation on earth and to decrease global warming (LOL), should everyone eat food the sambar-rasam way? If you calculate how much money is wasted on chop-sticks and/or cutlery, I bet the total comes to 100's of millions of $$$.

Reminds me of yesterday's mahanyaasam (for Shivaraatri) in which we remember the right hand and its 5 fingers with respect:

What kind of a stupid argument is that? There are reusable chopsticks that many use now. And more animals became extinct from hunting for other reasons that had nothing to do with eating them for food. Is this a bash-China day, guruvu gaaru?
