A question...
Occurred to me (although thot about it many times):
have you ever wished you had a sibling that you never had - say a big brother, a little sister or a twin brother, etc...?
Which one and why ?

I have everyone. Elder/younger sis/bro:) Though each show their "love" strongly at times, I take them as they are and never wished the way you have specified. I think, each soul has taken its role for its own/specific purpose and you can do nothing about it!

I wish I had an elder sister. She takes over the place of mother as you get older. Bcz the sister can understand your issues better than the mother who belongs to a previous generation.

I have heard a saying about Thamakkai/Thangai.
Thamakkai - Thamakke Ellam Vendum Enbhal.
Thangai - Than Kayye Podhum Enbhal.

I agree...that brings everything back to my view that everything is
hunky dory until each one gets their own family and home. Once the
"glue" parents are gone, the siblings are secondary to their own primary
families.
The relationship among the brothers usually is a lot
worse than among the sisters. A relatively uniform status among the
siblings help ease that "jealousy" factor in later years.

i'ts true. elder sisters are the best. mom's worry more if u tell them ur issues. brothers try to solve ur problems for u. but sisters...listen, understand and guide u.

Which one and why ?
a younger brother or sister - could have bossed them around.

Not content with already bossing over 3?......
P.S. In most cases, the younger ones boss over the older ones - the last few decades.
