lol!

Is this for real, or preparation for April 1? There may be a correlation, but such a correlation does not prove or disprove the hypothesis about chocolate consumption improving cognitive function. More likely, a third variable (per-capita income) results in both high number of Nobel laureates and high chocolate consumption.

correlation doesn't mean causation.. of course you know that. Just a fun study and probably the per capita income is the reason..

But how did it get accepted in NEJM.

Now, let us look at the real correlation: If a country is liberal in sexual and married life, has a population with Viking blood, has a good social welfare system, has high taxation, has strong child protection laws and fosters corruption in other countries, it has an excellent chance to produce Nobel laureates.
