I have my own doubts abt the current suspect too. The surveillance pictures show the brothers to be pretty relaxed. The 19 yr old kid seems to be smiling and enjoying himself. That's not how someone with a bomb in his backpack and with a plan to explode it and kill the people around would be. And then the story about the brothers robbing a seven eleven store after the terror incident doesn't add up at all. Anyone with an average or even below average IQ wouldn't do such a stupid thing after a terror attack. They'd go underground.
The pix of the sweet innocent face of this kid are haunting me. How can such an innocent looking kid do such a horrific crime? If it's a set-up or a mistake on someone's part in framing these guys, then it's an unpardonable mistake.

Ma state trooper colonel clarified in press conference that brothers did not rob 7-eleven stores. They were in the vicinity at that time but have no connection with the incident.
However they have bomb making stuff , guns and explosives. Do you think an innocent kid would have those things? Multiple rounds of shots (220) were fired in two exchanges.

If you think they were framed, you are accusing chief excutives of ma and usa. Can obama and patrick d. Do such a thing? If true, think of the devastating affect on bicoastal liberals.

oh..has the robbery incident been clarified. k...makes a li'l more sense now.

The brothers were carrying two backpacks which they left at the finish line. how/where did they carry the weapons and explosives? i didn't read all the news items. there's probably some explanation for that.

The older one is married and has a 3 yr old daughter. How could he do such a thing? Maybe religious indoctrination is such. sigh!

I am not accusing anyone. It's hard to believe that someone who grew up in this country, not someone from the underprivileged and illiterate parts of pakistan or the arab countries doing this.

from what i read the brothers went back to their apartment. they could have picked up arms from there. one theory is that brothers realized that cameras will id them and decided to bolt . it is during the getaway they ran into police dragnet .
lot of details and facts need to come out before we can really understand the story.

One of the London bombers was a married man with a kid IIRC. And atleast 1-2 of them were born/grew up in England. And a few years ago, there was a terrorist of Paki origin born/grew up in London who had a privileged background and education in the London School of Economics.

the story as reported by the globe is that dzhokar tsarnaev, the surviving suspect went back to attend class, work out at the university gym (he was a marine biology student at the univ of mass, dartmouth campus), and enjoyed himself at a party the day after the bombing as if nothing had happened. it is only when the fbi advertised their pics that he fled and joined his brother at the cambridge apartment where they gathered firearms and more bombs and decided to make a run for it.

some of his friends had fleeting thoughts that the picture the fbi put out might be of him, but they dismissed it thinking it impossible.

Hmm. What about carjacking Merc and the older owning a Mercedes himself and shouting on the streets that they plotted the bombs! friggin media is looking for piss-poorest reporting job award, CNN appears to be leading at this time. And here some thinks misreporting doesn't matter much How much do media mistakes matter? I guess until someone commits suicide.
