In 2001, he earned a doctorate in politics from Oxford. In 2006, Hart accepted an endowed professorship at the University of Colorado at Denver.

He got his PhD from Oxford at 65 and became a Professor at 70 (It may be a secondary campus but still). Age is fast becoming a non-factor in everything.
