Cinco de Mayo in Miami -- excellent. My first time in Florida, and I like what I have seen so far. The weather is like in southern California, but I don't dislike it as much as I dislike LA and the Orange County, but that may be only because I haven't had to drive here.

snoopy, week long cinco de mayo? you are the real daruwala!
i gave away the last bottle of beer in the house to an 85 year old, cool, non-wussy iyer mama. the elderly couple had dropped in and before leaving, mama asked me if i had kumkumam to offer the mami (that's the usual custom). i don't keep any at home and so he suggested that i give him a bottle of beer instead. awesome iyer boy, this one!
