With corruption scandal Congress is shedding any pretence of being a honest political party.
2G scam - delayed action.
cwg scam - waited till games are over.
coal scam - tried to fool the supreme court
Railway scam - even the railway minister was caught with his hand in cookie jar, Congress refuses to force bansal to resign.
Maharashtra adarsh scam
Ysr and Jagan scam in ap.

There is a chance that Congress could come back to power in the next election. What is wrong with this situation?

BJP should have kicked out Yedurappa, Reddy brothers and all the other corrupt members from the party. They would have come out ahead morally.

Bjp is a self destructive force. Primarily they are beholden to rss. Then as you pointed they cannot act swiftly against corrupt leaders. Then they choose modi instead of nitesh to lead in next elections. A combination of relatively honest nitesh kumar, chauhan, and raman singh would have been a better alternative. Idiotic hindutva logic drives them to make stupid choice.

Bjp may win few seats but it cannot defeat Congress in 2014.

With the mix of choices they get on the ballot, the Indian public are the real loosers.

India's elections are won by votes of 4% to 5% of demography and Sonia's Congress has figured out the people, candidates and parties to work with for winning elections.

Poor people vote for money, subsidies
Sc/st vote as blocks
. Muslim vote for religion
Middle class vote for caste??
Intelligentsia don, t vote
Rich people buy votes
