Before Jobs died, in his final interviews which his 'official' biography comes from, he said: "Bill is basically unimaginative and has never invented anything, which is why I think he's more comfortable now in philanthropy than technology," Jobs said of Gates. "He just shamelessly ripped off other people's ideas."

That kind of poisonous rhetoric was characteristic of Steve Jobs, and I cannot respect that kind of person. Props to Gates for being so magnanimous.
