Rajkumar earned a bachelor's degree in electronics and communications
engineering from the University of Madras, India, in 1984 and a master's
degree and Ph.D. in computer engineering from Carnegie Mellon in 1986
and 1989, respectively.

Disappointing.

He did not go to IIT.

BTW, what's is going on with Tamilians/Tamizhans names these days, Why Raj Kumar & Mohan Kumar, why not Raj Kumaran & Mohan Kumaran.

rajakumaran and mohanakumaran, you mean.

all tamilian kids i know are named adithya or aishwarya or abijeeth or akshaya - i miss the shankars, venkats, subbus and shantis. it was always comforting to have a few of them around.
