neighbor got one of these

just beautiful:
he looks adorable now, but for sure he's going to grow up to look intimidating. beautiful dogs.

My friend Krishni in Chennai has a ridgeback/boxer mix called Byro (short for byravan!). It is sturdy as a boxer but has that ridgy line on its back like that of a ridgeback. A great dog, except for his drooling. This breed needs a lot of exercise.

I am *this* close to getting a dog... ya i mean like i don't have enough things to care of already, but that's how the baghis roll. maybe i will get one in july and surprise the heck out of kids when they come back from vacation.

i didn't grow up with one and would have never dreamed i'd become a dog person, but my family is converting me. i feel very drawn to them. so beautiful if you can connect with them.
