What Modi has done for Gujarat

Why can't there be a retirement age for politicians ? India already
suffering with one old age PM. This is the proof that brain cells
dwindle with age!! When modi took over as CM of Gujarat It had heavy
power cut like any other states which directly affects small &
medium Industries. Within 3 years of Modi taking over as CM, 18500+
villages are provided with 24 hrs 3 phase uninterrupted electricity.
Within 1000 days of starting Jyotigrama Yojana by Narendra Modi, 23
LAKH new Electricity poles were planted, 56000 new transformers were
placed, 75000 KMs of new electricity cables were put. Agriculture growth
was only 1.5% before Modi. But now after bringing the water from
Narmada dam, regions like Kutch (desert land) are exporting Mangoes. And
overall growth is 10% consistently for a decade. Land for Drip &
Sprinkler Irrigation increased from 12000 Hectares in 2001 to 7 Lakh
Hectares in 2012. Cultivable land size increased from 108 Lakh hectares
to 148 Lakh Hectares in past decade. Horticulture production increase to
350%. More importantly Modi has created transparency in administration
& made Gujarat a policy driven state there by eliminating corruption
to the maximum extent. If you live in Gujarat you can feel that govt is
working for you every day, every hour, every minute. Narendra Modi –
Awarded Best Chief minister in India by ‘India Today' in association
with AC Neilson & ORGMARG for the years 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008,
2009, 2010, 2011 consecutively! STILL the biggest contribution of
Narendra Modi is to create a level playing field for Development
politics in a diverse country like India. Now even central govt is
talking about development when the non-performance became so apparent
after ruling these many years & congress ruled states are not able
to compete with a drought hit state like Gujarat.
