Re: Afghan parliament upholds right to marry children
Afghanistan's parliament has rejected a measure that would have barred men from marrying girls younger than 16, saying the proposal ran counter to Islamic ideology.
The measure also would have banned “baad, [the] traditional practice of buying or selling women to settle disputes,” and outlawed criminal charges being imposed on rape victims, Breitbart reported. Rape victims in Afghanistan often are charged with fornication or adultery.

Ayatollah Rashmunullah and Maulana Merlot support the Afghans in protecting their Koranic rights. They are wholeheartedly with their Ummah, and notice how they will never UNEQUIVOCALLY, explicitly condemn their Ummah for practicing these Koranic laws.

Oh it is coming...The US is repeating the same mistake of dealing with the devils - Taliban.
The westerners dont understand one thing. History is not just history - it extends to the present and future - for most of non-whites in this world.
and oh...money cannot buy everything as the Western countries believe. The way to control Taliban is through Pakisaitan. Put enormous pressure on Pakistan (and on china to back off on pakistan) to go after Taliban. Pakisaitan will have no option/choice but to dump and close downt he Taliban.
There is no other option.

Now, let's not go overboard by calling west naive or clueless, don't forget that they fostered Talibanism or similar traits in the '70s & '80s for their selfish reasons and are directly responsible for all this nonsense.

>>>>Not wholly, but partly yes, the short-sighted thinking on the part of the west is a reason. There seems to have been no understanding that the thugs would turn against the west or anyone else once the Russians were gone. The other player in this scenario is Pakistan itself, a basket case of a nation that has bamboozled the west with its duplicity, one that the west woke up to relatively late. Now it is like the dialogue from The Godfather, 'keep your friends close, but your enemies closer' and hence this weird dance with Pakistan.

Pakistan has been a true ally until recently. That's one weird state going down the tubes. I didn't think they were this bad [internally] in the '80s.

Shaking my head in disbelief.
What's more funny is that when it comes to religious unite, the M Team (all across the world) and eminent SuChers are all one, speaking in one voice.
Not one peep against this from the 1 billion+.

Flirting???
India became a Soviet satellite in the 50s and Paki decided to become a prostitute for the US. Paki got military hardware (remember Sabre Jet?) from the US, and India became an enemy of Nixon with the war in Bangladesh.

Pakistan played into and played this fantasy to its benefit. Both the dances (US/Pak and India/Russia) lasted a couple of decades too long.

Don't worry aunty, I'm with you on this one 100%. It's absolutely atrocious that the Afghans might charge you with fornication or adultery, when in fact, you were the victim. Furthermore, I unequivocally and explicitly condemn any attempt by Abdullahi whatsisname (that Muslim who conquered you) to sell you to settle a dispute. Happy? Good. Now, stop crying and go make Abdullahi a shawarma lest he whips you some more.
