The story says Indian babus actually realized this and took what internal US communications characterize as an "aggressive" posture on the matter.

Yeah rite. Indian Baboons learn from chinese, Pakistani, Iraqi, Syrian, and even North Korenas on how to extract their pound of flesh against the big powers.

Many other factors aside, India's economy and power are similar to what the chinese had in the 80s and Japanese had in the 60s.

Still they never let the West run over them like the Indians do.
