we have never stayed overnight. always make one of the cape destinations our base because we like to combine it with a trip to the cape, and take the ferry out and stay for the day. we use public transport to get around the island. i can't write a 36 hour travelogue but will post later about some sights we have taken in and places we like to hang out.
