oh, I see, thanks for the info. I won't bother. I wanted to say the other day that I had missed your one-line opinions on all matters small and big that still managed to address the issue.

lol, was drunk on 3 potent vodkas when i posted that... came home, shed clothes and dropped in the bed. woke up in the morning and couldn't believe i actually posted it when i was only thinking of doing so, and i was giggling when i was thinking of posting that. also checked some replies on my gmail, and could not believe the junk i emailed to 2-3 people last night... thank god my single life is ending soon...
at work, my colleague was like - are u all right? then she said better to take Tylenol BEFORE u start drinking.

Don't take Tylenol or any medication with alcohol...I read long time back it can ruin the kidneys.

There was medical news a few days ago that there are more doubts now about the safety of acetamenophen (the main ingredient for Tylenol etc.) in terms of its harmful effect on kidneys etc.

I don't know why you people drink. Why consume mind and mood altering, dangerous substances? Take a shot of liquor in a glass and bring a lit match close to it. The liquor will instantly catch fire. Does it feel intuitive to ingest this highly flammable chemical?!

Yep food processing and using knives to cut vegetables and meat are all dangerous. How about cooking...one can get burned and how about eating...high chances of choking.

I miss it only for the crazy booze fueled fucking. With all these ex-GFs popping up on FB and doing their tired old middle-aged mating hobble, I need to be liquored up to feel motivated to bang em.
Other than that, ice ice baby.

Try the GMAT test. One component of that test will teach you the basics of logical reasoning.

Lol. Love yanking your chain. Anyway, I don't have any issues with alcohol. I don't crave it, I don't care if I have it or not. I drink maybe 10 times a year (only last year was an exception but even that didn't make me addicted to it). Have never drunk by myself. Have never thrown up from it or hit a tree. Not have had hangover, except maybe migraine from wine which happens even if I take two sips of red wine sometimes. Have never done anyone I shouldn't be doing. Kissed yes (just once), sex no. Guess this overgrown aunty is good.

If you have a car riding on bald tires, will you rush to get them replaced with new ones or will you brush it aside under the pretext of being busy and broke?
The best investment is the one you can make in yourself. Learn something new every day. Knowledge is power. Spending money on it now will reap rich dividends later.

ok. so why do you have it "maybe 10 times a year"? Drink water instead. Have lemonade. What's the motivation to drink "maybe 10 times a year" when you don't care about alcohol at all? That's money down the toilet, IMO. $200-400 a year. Buy yourself some shoes with that money. Help cover gym membership costs. I dunno, send money to a needy kid in Guatemala. or to TAZ.

When I do have it, I do enjoy the little bit of buzz that comes with it. Depends on the company and my mood. I make the decision on the spot whether I want to drink at that time or not, and how much. I don't go in with a preconceived plan, and I don't have a set of conditions around it. I also don't get carried away and I don't keep on drinking if I think I can't handle it. I start diluting the buzz with water the moment I get it, even if I continue drinking. I usually drink as much water as alcohol.

I quit in Nov 2012. Trying to think what has changed for me since I quit. Let me see...
1. Better parent now. More in tune with kids' needs, schooling, activities.
2. Health/fitness is about 10% better overall, and yes, no more hangovers and general lethargy that comes after a bout of drinking.
3. No more chasing aunties for risque sex. I miss that; it was fun.
4. No more tits on webcam, no more shenanigans on Yahoo IM. I guess this one ties in with #3.
5. Saying no to booze buddies. Hanging out with people because I like to be with them and not because they are good drinking buddies.
6. Predictable, even schedule day after day, week after week. Could get boring in my younger days but now, I welcome the sameness.
7. More focused at work. Long way to go but this is definitely a step in the right direction.

Learning something new every day sounds good and can be done and knowledge is power is cool and everything but to learn something one should be interested. I am master in subjects that interest me and logical reasoning doesn't intrigue me...not my fault.
