Re: Physics Professor arrested for running a prostitution ring
Sorry to say, but you are lying in the title of this thread. This professor did not run a prostitution ring. He ran a website where people posted reviews of their experiences with prostitutes. It is not the same thing.
Suppose, Charvaka created a sub-forum on this site for users to post about their drug use experiences. It is not the same as Charvaka actually selling drugs to people. Is that clear?
When I ran a prostitution ring in college ( https://such.forumotion.com/t1402-earning-my-way-through-school-as-a-pimp ), I encouraged our clients to post reviews on sites like the one this professor ran. Such review sites were really good for marketing our business and bringing in reliable, well-paying, trust-worthy clients.
At this point of time, I am not sure this professor has done anything illegal. Is there a law against posting reviews or descriptions of illegal substances or actions?
