....The 4 convicted rapists should be shown compassion and released from prison. That will teach others what compassion is about and rapes will dramatically reduce to zero in 3 years.

Texas has the right idea. Guns to defend ourselves from rapists in spread-out places AND the death penalty (no tiny slap-on-the-wrist prison sentence is enough of a deterrent). It keeps these potential criminals in states like NY and CA with overflowing prisons.
