TN Muslim terrorists engage in fierce gun battle with cops
Tamil Nadu police were engaged in a gun battle with armed suspects barricaded in a house near Puttur in Andhra Pradesh since early on Saturday even as the Special Investigation Division of the Crime Branch CID arrested Fakruddin alias ‘Police’ Fakruddin, one of the prime accused in the plot to blow up the convoy of senior BJP leader L.K. Advani, police sources said.
Tamil Nadu Director-General of Police K. Ramanujam confirmed the arrest of Fakruddin. Parrying questions on the gun battle in Puttur, he said the operation was still on. Senior officials of the CB-CID were coordinating with the local police there, he said
Farkuddin is allegedly involved in the murders of BJP state general secretary Auditor Ramesh in Salem on July 19 and Hindu Munnani state secretary Vellaiyappan in Vellore on July 1. He is also believed to have played a key role in planting a powerful bomb under a culvert in a bid to attack Mr. Advani’s convoy near Madurai in 2011. His involvement is also alleged in the murder of a milk vendor in Madurai recently. A special team of the State Intelligence nabbed Fakruddin when he was conducting a dry run to target a Hindu organisation leader in Chennai, the sources said.
Sources in the intelligence agencies said police surrounded a house in Puttur based on a tip-off that terrorists were hiding there. Two police personnel, including Inspector Lakshmanan of Special Division suffered serious injuries in the operation and were rushed to a private hospital in Chennai. Police cordoned off the area and took positions at vantage points. The suspects seemed to have taken a woman and three children hostage.
The Tamil Nadu Government formed the SID to investigate the murders of Ramesh and Vellaiyappan. After preliminary enquiries, the SID announced that Fakruddin, Bilal Malik and Panna Ismail were the main conspirators in the murder of Vellaiyappan and announced a reward of Rs. 20 lakh for information leading to their arrest. The accused, who were actively involved in the erstwhile Al-Umma, had planned to attack a couple of senior Hindu organisation leaders in the State, the sources said, adding that timely intelligence provided by the Special Division and Organised Crime Intelligence Unit of the Tamil Nadu police led to the breakthrough.

Please note that none of these are muslims. If they are, then they are not true muslims, if they claim to be then they are no longer part of Ummah - just FYI.Rishi wrote:Tamil Nadu police were engaged in a gun battle with armed suspects barricaded in a house near Puttur in Andhra Pradesh since early on Saturday even as the Special Investigation Division of the Crime Branch CID arrested Fakruddin alias ‘Police’ Fakruddin, one of the prime accused in the plot to blow up the convoy of senior BJP leader L.K.
