The accused include: J Baasir alias Basheer, 30; M Kichan Buhari alias Bugari, 38; M Mohammed Salin, 30; Panna Ismail alias Mohammed Ismail, 30; Paravai Basha, 32, and Ali Khan Kutti (all from Tirunelveli); Sait Asgar Ali alias Sait, 29; S Rahmatulla, 32; Valayil Hakeem alias Hakeem, 32; Syed Suleiman alias Tenkasi Suleiman, 24; Man Bhai alias Suleiman alias Olango, 31; Zulfikar Ali, 24 (all from Coimbatore) and Bilal Malik alias Bilal, 28 and Fakruddin alias Police Fakruddin, 30 (both from Madurai). "The roles of Panna Ismail, Bilal Malik, Police Fakruddin, Alikhan Kutti and others are being further probed. Panna Ismail, Bilal Malik and Police Fakruddin were caught by the Tamil Nadu police from their hideout in Puttur in Andhra Pradesh on October 5. More details of their role in the April 17 blast will be known only after questioning them," police commissioner Raghavendra H Auradkar said.

PiSS group leaders and muslim apologists Maulana Gaywala and Rashmunullah will put in some good words (or through their studied silence) on behalf of their chargesheeted colleagues.
