The rally was, if nothing else, certainly a security failure.

The other thing that I could gather through this rather educative walk was that the people there didn’t seem like a crowd who had been mobilised by the lure of money, food or travel to Patna but a conviction in Modi. (Although some others had equally strong passion against him.)

modi - 1
nitish + congress - 0

i hope congress gets wiped out in the general elections. modi is as competent as rahul gandhi is incompetent (well, he is an ass).

India needs a clean break from dynasty politics. At least from the Nehru/Gandhi family.

Yes. That in itself is ample ample reason to dislodge congress from power. I hope the electorate obliges this time.

60 years of Congress rule and they have NO - ABSOLUTELY NO - leader worth the post of PM. The only thing the party (if one can call that) can point to is Rahul, Priyanka, Priyanka, Rahul.
..and India a "democracy"...and Congress is a "democratic party"
What a disgrace.

Not that I'm supporting dynasty politics but the following link should jog your memory a bit as to how great and magnanimous those opposition party leaders that were fortunate to be part of a non-congress elected governments, who if acted in the best interests of country could've made sure that congress was wiped off the face of the earth.Marathadi-Saamiyaar wrote:60 years of Congress rule and they have NO - ABSOLUTELY NO - leader worth the post of PM. Congress is a collection of non entrepreneurial. Mnoied class of India. Licence and corruption are their economic tools. Caste politics and feudal power are their social tools. Middle class and new entrepreneurial class tried regional, caste based politics under socialist cover (mulayam, nitish). That did not succeed.
The ultra right tried as swatantra party and disappeared.
Bjp is using religious divide to come to power. But they only got 20% support.
So Congress will continue to be the central force in India for a long time.
