RSD - averages : home 51, away 53. 100s : home 15, away 21. averages poor in sri lanka (33) and south africa (29) despite playing 10+ matches.

looks like a noisy sachin fan has arrived. dravid has a much better record in tests than sachin in pakistan and new zealand. so big whoop!

nobody, i mean nobody is the equal of gavaskar in technique. let's put that one to rest right away. you don't play sustained helmetless innings against the west indian pace battery of the 70s and 80s, score boatloads of runs without getting injured a single time without the best goddamn technique in the world. case closed.

that is right. but he does not average even 40 in sri lanka and 30 in africa. if you discount those averages, then i am sure even sangakkara or jayawardene has respectable numbers. moreover, pakistan <> south africa and nea zealand <> australia (where RSD's numebrs are again poor when compared with SRT).

Gavaskar had the best straight drive ever. but sachin has better woodwork than gavasker and is more pleasing on eyes. I do not know this from stats but sachin probably has a much better strike rate than gavaskar. In other words g man cut his shots down to have better technical control. sachin scored faster and yet gadgets better control of technique.
