MGR was born to a brahmin woman - who was rumored to have had an affair. She was castigated and isolated in Keral when MGR was young. This must have had some Psych effect on him as he was always soft on Brahmins, and also once an actress got married he had no use for them and moved onto another new young heroine.

In effect, everyone was his "sister" until exceptions are made.

on everyone being sister to MGR: were you one of his diehard fans, who believed his film persona was him in real life? i think you got inspired from the thai-sister bit in ulagam sutrum vAliban... but then it was her who dreams a duet with him which invariably is true that only the heroines have all those duet dream songs with him, not the character that MGR played, isn't it?
