Amazon Primeair - drones for 1/2 hour delivery
Amazon claims delivery of almost anything in future, so I'm ordering for a terrorist delivery from Pak through amazon to CIA HQ.

This is real innovation!
Number of Challenges are there to take it from a experimental labs to real service
a) FAA Regulations and associated ability to fly around places like downtown (so this could be initially restricted to only those areas where there is a clear LOS path for the Drone to fly)
b) Accidentally getting entangled with Wires, or being hit by birds
c) Getting stolen at the time of delivery
d) Malfunctions and electronics failures etc.. and lack of GPS signals at certain places
if we extend the concept, it could directly deliver to the Balcony of a High Rise building.
Unfortunately this innovation has the possibility of rendering package delivery jobs
extinct in the near future (10-20 Years)
1) (a) Can be solved by remote piloting and high BW real-time video transmission back to Control centers.
2) Part of (b) can be solved by remote piloting and real-time video transmissions.
3) (c) can be solved by Geo Fence and GPS Updates would immediately give info to Amazon that it has been stolen. But if the person manages to switch off immediately, by removing batteries, the last minute video is the only clue to give info
on the person(s) who stole it. Thus would need panoramic camera and real-time video transmission back to Control Centers
4) (d) GPS Holes (if any) can be taken care by Cellular Data backup and cellular network based location sensing.
