Re: What is your Myers-Briggs Personality Type?
I took the test twice, and the result was INTP once and INTJ another time. I guess the last dimension is where I am in the middle. In the other three dimensions, I am pretty strongly one way or the other.

Re: What is your Myers-Briggs Personality Type?
I too have done it twice...
1st - it was few years ago ,2nd-y'day when i saw the post by nutmeg,result-both time it was ESFP personality type...
conclusion-guess i have not evolved as a person or this whole personality test material by Jung is outdated.
Need a shorter new version of it.
Can we do today's job with yesterday's methods & be in tomorrow's business?

Re: What is your Myers-Briggs Personality Type?
Three years ago I was INFP:
Your Personality is Very Rare (INFP) Your personality type is dreamy, romantic, elegant, and expressive. Only about 5% of all people have your personality, including 6% of all women and 4% of all men You are Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, and Perceiving.
Here is the rest of the blah:

Took it again. So now I am a ISFJ - Introverted Sensing Feeling Judging.
So I am no longer intuitive, I just sense. And I no longer percieve, but I 'judge'. You Ch'ers did manage to screw me up.

I do not think that these tests are very accurate. I tend to get a different personality everytime I take it.

maybe you should really spend some time thinking about every question before you respond...it's easy to breeze through the test in 3-4 mins...I tried to interpret every question in my own way; from my own life experiences...results show me as an INTJ everytime...

MBTI is highly reliable psychological questionnaire...
Various such pschometric test assess me as a extrovert...but im an ambivert..so we can say it's not too accurate

At the end of the day, it depends on what your answer is. I can take the test to and try to be sincere in answering and still come up with two different sets of answer depending on my mood.

possible. but i have a general distrust for these types of tests. psychobabble really gets inside my skin.

They say INTJs are supposed to be rare... only about 4% of the population or so. But quite a few people here seem to be. What is surprising is that all the admitted INTJs so far don't come across as being 'introvert' on this board. Personally, in real life, I cannot categorize myself as an introvert or an extrovert. My behavior goes through the whole range from one end to the other depending on the time of day, my mood, the other person, environment, etc.

that's true, but the myers-briggs if you answer it carefully is supposed to reveal your core personality. anyway, it's better than zodiac signs.

I am not at all intuitive. Opposite of it, I guess. Will take the test again.

Re: What is your Myers-Briggs Personality Type?
I took the test a few days ago. I remembered that I took this test before too and posted my results here. Came back and checked. I took it exactly 7 years ago. Whoa! Time just flies! The result I got now is the same. INFJ, stronger than before. I believe it’s a rare personality type. Less than 1% of population is this personality type.Guest wrote:kinnera wrote:

So...we are born with our personality type and our nature basically remains the same throughout our life? Hmm...interesting.
“INFJ, Confidant, Visionary, Introverted, Intuitive, Naturalist, Kinesthetic, Even-brained” is what it says who I am.

The Gita also says the same thing. In one of the hymns Krishna tells Arjuna that no matter how much he (Arjuna) wants to avoid taking part in the battle (Mahabharata), he eventually will end up fighting due to his warrior (kshatriya) nature.
