I can't relate to any of these American hobbies.

I did not like to watch DD movies on TV and would walk my dog then in 80s. The roads would be quiet with very little traffic during movie hour. I wouldn't miss a single dialogue in my 1 km dog-walk.

you mean you would be on your on on a quiet street while your family watched a movie, unaware where u were? Isn't that point 2 and/or 21 in that list?

2.  Being totally inaccessible - from after school until dinner. Now, we would call that being lost.
-> These, even adults can't escape from cell phone/email wrath

12. Fearlessly scaling fences, climbing trees, playing in the woods, and jumping streams without a parent in sight to save us (hell, we used to ride our bikes through a cemetery).
-> This sounds very Indian

19. Eating unwrapped things people handed you in stores - like pretzel logs from the bank.
-> or wrapped in an old newspaper

21. Running around until sundown without a care in the world, a phone in my pocket or shoes on my feet.
-> Yup
