Of 534 current members of Congress, at least 268 had an average net worth of $1 million or more in 2012, according to disclosures filed last year by all members of Congress and candidates.

$1 million is nothing. With a 0.85 "high interest rate" it will earn a piddly 8500 a year.
But the benefits and pension they get to enjoy for the rest of their lives would make a millionaire envious.
